Avebury stone circle.  A site I found to be more impressive than Stonehenge.  Perhaps because one is permitted to walk amongst the stones.  Stonehenge is fenced off  to prevent vandalism which keeps you away from a close encounter with the stones.  The small concrete pyramids mark the locations of stones that have been removed.
